According to Vernon, following the ministry’s decision they will proceed with the investigation and it is anticipated that Genus’ employment falls under the Public Service Commission’s Handbook.

“What we basically believe is that as soon as we get the word from ministry itself under which mandate presently governs Mr. Genus over here at ITVET Toledo and then we shall just use that policy and regulations handbook and just proceed with the hearings and make sure that our points are substantial and all substantial evidence will be allocated and made available to all parties in the case and we just want to have a very smooth and decent closure whereby that the particulars, our main interest once it falls beneath the category of PSC Handbook then basically it will carry a lot more weight with the said burden of proof whereby the circumstances of the evidence will basically outweigh all the existing applications that we have. Henceforth that was what we made our basis for in the initial phase of the first part of the investigation.”
The impasse is expected to be resolved within the next fifteen days.
