In crime news a Western Dairies salesman was robbed of his bankroll this morning as two thieves attacked him as he made a delivery near the corner of Dean Street and East Canal. They ran off with his waist bag containing between fifteen hundred and two thousand dollars.

Suspect arrested in Sunday shooting

An arrest has been made in a shooting that occurred on Sunday. Twenty-year old Cecil Gill has been charged with attempted murder and use of deadly means of harm in the attack on James Whylie, which occurred at Whylie’s house on Tanoomah Street.
