Introducing Miss Belize Universe, Rebecca Rath

All this week we’ve been showing you snippets of Rebecca Rath’s journey to the Miss Universe crown in Manila, Philippines. Rath and the other contestants are participating in a number of activities leading up to the pageant on January twenty-ninth. Earlier today, the Miss Universe organization released a teaser of a video they did with Rath here in Belize late last year. The video is for the public to get to know the queens vying for the Miss Universe title– and all of that information is now available on the official Miss Universe app. First, we take a look at that little trailer and then hear from Rath as she seeks your support for the official voting starts on Monday – this is an opportunity for one contestant to advance to the semi-final round.

“There will be three ways to vote for me online. What we were told is that the person who gets the most votes in that round will automatically qualify to the semi-finals. So, the three ways you can vote are from the Miss Universe website, on Miss Universe Twitter and on an app called Vodi. So you can download the app and the code that you put in will just be my name. It is a very simple process, but voting doesn’t start until the twenty-third. But when it does start I am sure you guys will be very happy to know that you can vote ten times a day on each medium because I know you guys have this voting thing down – any website, any page that has any voting, you guys really, really go all out for me on that, so I have to say thank you again.”
