Guatemalan Shot in Chiquibul; Was it a Soldier?

We can confirm that a Guatemalan national has been found dead in the Chiquibul National Park. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs late this evening confirmed the death of the national, but says that the identity and cause of death have not been ascertained; and the deceased is still at the location. According to the release, authorities from both sides will collaborate to retrieve the body on Wednesday, at which time a post mortem will be conducted.  Since earlier today, a report surfaced on a Guatemalan radio station, Radio Sonora, that a Guatemalan soldier had been killed in the adjacency zone.
