Family of Toronto resident Gabriel Bochnia speak out after murder in Corozal

Canadian news sources have picked up on murder victim thirty-eight-year-old Gabriel Bochnia to be from Toronto, Ontario. CTV Toronto reports that his sister Kate is on her way to Belize to make funeral arrangements for her brother, who was living here with his wife Jeshanah Maritza Zetina and their three children. Police have announced no arrests or further leads despite reports reaching us that two persons of interest, including the alleged killer, are being sought. The gunman is reportedly a former employee who has recently been released from the prison. He had also targeted Zetina but misfired and then fled. She however was reportedly able to recognize him. The couple and their three children were returning from Chetumal when they were attacked. According to CTV, Canadian consular officials have offered their condolences to the man’s family and said they’re ready to provide them with assistance. Kate Bochnia said she intends to follow up with police on the outcome of their investigation when she lands in Belize.
