“Execution, execution. We will continue to engage. Tomorrow, for example, we will be meeting with civil society and talking to them about this same topic; and really, what we are hoping to achieve and we have achieved, is to get some ambassadors that will be able to go ahead and spread the word and let Belize know how we will be complying with these reporting requirements.”
The United Nations Development Program was responsible for overall organization. Other workshop facilitators include Supreme Court Justice Antoinette Moore; Nicolas Marugan, CERD Committee Expert; Nyasha Laing, Human Rights Consultant; and Orla Kantun-Coleman, Director of International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
