Miss Universe Belize Reveals National Costume in International Pageant

Miss Universe Belize, Jenelli Fraser, appeared on stage this morning in Bankok, Thailand where the national costume competition of Miss Universe took place. Fraser wore a stunning ensemble designed by David A Matus and Roberto Pasos Dominguez showing off the Mayan culture. It depicted Kinich Ahua, the Mayan sun god designated as God D in the codices. The famous Mayan jade head was portrayed as part of a staff she carried as she walked confidently on stage. Belizeans at home and abroad beamed with pride when they saw her appearance on the preliminary competition.   Here is a look at Fraser during this morning’s show where some costumes stood out for creativity and imagination.
