Baby Nelson Passes Away
Baby Nelson Javier Tavora passed away on Saturday. We introduced you to him months ago as he battled a condition called hydrocephalus, where there is a build up of cerebrospinal fluid in his head. The condition disabled baby Nelson. He was not able to walk, rarely spoke and his physical growth was sluggish. When baby Nelson was six months old, his head was three times the size of a normal child his age. News Five’s Andrea Polanco visited baby Nelson at his home in Bella Vista Village, Toledo in an effort to create awareness as the family needed financial assistance for his medical needs. Immediately, several individuals and businesses assisted and the child received medical attention. However, his condition was far advanced and he passed away six days ago.
