Jenelli Fraser is Ready to Represent Belize in La Reina de la Costa Maya

Miss Universe Belize 2018, Jenelli Fraser, will be gracing the international stage once again, this time as the Belizean delegate for the La Reina de la Costa Maya pageant set for July twenty-sixth on La Isla Bonita, San Pedro. The twenty-seven-year-old has been selected and gears are in full swing as she prepares to compete against seven other delegates from Central America and Mexico. During an interview with the beauty ambassador, News Five asked her about her mindset going into the international pageant.

“In terms of my preparation, it is the same as me going to Miss Universe: practicing my walk, my presentation overall, how I speak. And this time, Costa Maya is a bit different because I get to show my personality a bit more. It is fun, it’s engaging, so I encourage every single person to come out. It’s at home so for me that’s extremely special.”

“Have you looked at the competition; the other delegates coming from the seven other countries including Mexico? We know that they, like Belize, are preparing to take home the title. The last time I believe the title was here in Belize was with Nunez from San Pedro. Are you going to bring it back to Belize?”

“Well that’s the plan. I always say the biggest competition is myself. Of course I never underestimate anyone, but I am very confident as usual. And so we shall see on the twenty-sixth what will happen.”
