Nursing Task Force Warns of ‘Escalation of Tension’
The Nursing Task Force is calling on the respective ministries to respond in writing to all correspondences sent within the next five days to avoid escalation of tension within the nursing community.

“I am not going to be the one to call that shot. I am the President of the Nurses Association. We have an executive. We have an order in which we have to do things and we will respect that order. From here is to take to back to our different members and stakeholders and get guidance from them what should be the next step and how far are we suppose to go?”

“In terms of the association, how many nurse do you represent in terms of power?”

“Well I will tell you that there are over a thousand nurses in the country. The statistic says that the health team is comprised of eighty six percent nurses. That is a lot of power if you ask me.”
