Minister John Saldivar Continues to Deny Allegations

Late this evening, Minister John Saldivar issued a press statement denying the article in the Salt Lake Tribune.  He says that the article suggests that Jacob Kingston will testify that Lev Dermen bribed him, but does not say in exchange for what. He also says that no one knows what Kingston will say and to anticipate his testimony is malicious and mischievous. He further states that there is no court document that points to any bribery on his part and he continues to maintain he never did favours for Dermen in return for cash and there will be absolutely no evidence that Kingston can truthfully prove otherwise. He ends the statement to say that, “It is sad that the P.U.P. media houses in Belize are repeating this unfounded story over and over in a desperate attempt to smear his name without evidence.”
