911 Enforcer to Keep Track of Tourists
While government is looking at have one facility for border jumpers for better control, it will also be relying on a devise to track tourists whenever they arrive. The nine-one-one enforcer is a tracking device that will be used to monitor the movement of visitors. The device is not only water and shockproof but it is also difficult to be tampered with. Tourists will have to wear these tracking bracelets which transmits G.P.D. information in real-time. C.E.O. in the Ministry of National Security retired colonel George Lovell who also sits on the COVID-19 Taskforce says that a unit has been created to monitor tourists around the clock and ensure that they stay within in the COVID corridor.
(Ret’d) Col. George Lovell, C.E.O., Ministry of National Security
“We had the discussions at Taskforce level, and I sit on the National Taskforce for COVID. I can tell you that one of the suggestions was that we would have to have a dedicated staff for the monitoring of these facilities and that can be had at the control centre where we already have a control centre with monitors and thing at the Police department. And so, our idea of monitoring these devices is to have a dedicated staff to do so, and they need to do so twenty-four-seven. Yes, the police will be required to work hand in hand with that staff because enforcement is a matter for the police department.”
