3 Positive Cases in Belmopan Are Staffers from Belize Medical Centre

Among the samples that have tested positive from the Belmopan area are three staff members of the Belize Medical Centre.  That particular business is one of government’s top pharmaceutical suppliers.  Two are among the batch of twenty-three cases that were released on Monday night; the other staff member was confirmed over the weekend.  The three so far are Elron Franco, Jesse Leon and Doctor Hector Cisneros.  Of the three new cases in Belmopan, two are linked to the previously identified case and the other is linked to a cluster in San Pedro. For now, the centre is reaching out to members of the public that may have come in contact with the three persons to monitor themselves for any symptoms of the coronavirus.
