Bruk It Dong Jenny Tests Positive for COVID-19

Well-known mental health therapist Jennifer Lovell has tested positive for COVID-19 after being exposed to the virus during a workshop that she was administering on the sixth of August.  Lovell, who is a regular on Channel Five’s Open Your Eyes, says that she was informed of her status on Tuesday night after several days of inquiring with health officials about the result of her test.  According to Lovell, she received information around nine o’clock on Tuesday night that she has contracted the coronavirus.  In an interview with News Five this evening, the popular KTV judge describes her experience with the public health system, as well as her ordeal with the virus.

“I was exposed on the sixth of August at a workshop that I was doing.  I was not informed that I was exposed until the twelfth of August.  I asked, okay, so what now?  Will I receive a test?  They said, “We’ll check and get back to you.”  I kept checking right up until the night and still hadn’t gotten a response from the people who are in charge of authorizing testing.  All day, the thirteenth, I kept calling.  I told the person, “You know what, I am going to show up over there and demand a test on the fourteenth, I’m coming in the morning.”  I got in my car and I drove over there and I waited and then I got tested.  They did the swab on the fourteenth, around eleven o’clock.  I kept calling back to get a response, to hear about the results of the test because they said, they kept pushing it back, pushing it back because they had all these people they needed to test.  I kept calling and you have to understand my mental state, right.  I’m calling the ninth, the eleventh, the twelfth.  The twelfth I got a response that said you tested positive.  I kept calling to ask about it the fifteenth, sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth.  The nineteenth, last night around nine o’clock, I got a response that [I] tested positive.”
