Godoy Family Says They Have Not Been Swabbed

Orange Walk is the district with the highest number of cases and its health facilities are under pressure with the number of positive cases. Reports have surfaced that at least one person of the Godoy family has tested positive for COVID-19.  Arturo Godoy Senior, however, is saying that the family has not been swabbed for the disease.

“We are saying the news right now and we are saying that they are saying that one of us or the family is positive. We spent the whole day right here nobody yet reach here. No one has reached right here to test us. How will they say we are positive? We are waiting to come and swab us. Why? Because we want to see which one of us came out positive and which one of us infected my little baby. Why they didn’t come? Because they know that my son didn’t die of COVID-19 and they wanted, well you have COVID-19. Nobody has reached out here, no health, nobody. If you come and you ask the neighbours if somebody has come here, nobody has come right here.”
