Dr. Marvin Manzanero, Director of Health Services
“In terms of rapid test because the team is still finalizing how we include that report from the P.G.I.A. From the P.G.I.A., from the notes I have is that there have been two thousand two hundred and seventy nine rapid tests done out of which nineteen turned out to be positive. In terms of rapid tests done in the private sector and we are trying to capture all the data that they have in the private sector. Belize Medical Associates says they have done two hundred and nineteen tests out of which thirty five have turned out to be positive. Healthcare Partners Limited has done a total of ninety nine tests reported to us on the go data platform out of which thirty four turned out positive. We have started as we had mentioned I believe the last time we interacted that we are rolling out the rapid tests from our end to the different facilities. So seventy rapid tests have been done out which twenty two have turned out positive.”
