David “Dido” Vega Still Critical at Healthcare Partners

Since Saturday, Corozal Bay Area Representative David “Dido” Vega has been hospitalized at the Belize Healthcare Partners Limited after having contracted COVID-19. Vega remains intubated and in a critical condition and today, P.U.P. colleague, Kareem Musa gave an update on his condition.

“My brother, David Dido Vega, the area representative for Corozal Bay is at the hospital still intubated. But I can report that as of yesterday, they have been seeing improvements. Yes, they are slow in coming along and while you are intubated it is extremely critical for any patient. And while it is that we have so hope and we are happy to see the progress, at the same time, we have to continue with our prayers. I know the entire country and especially the constituents of Corozal Bay are holding and uplifting my brother Dido in prayer—and we are very thankful for that—and the doctors and nurses at healthcare partners are doing everything in their capacity to help out the situation and so we are very thankful for that. So yes there has been little progress and we are happy about that, but at the same time, he is still intubated and so we continue prayers for him.”
