Police Conduct Random Inspection at Ready Call
Call centers continue to operate from their respective offices across the country, under strict guidelines that are line with COVID-19 safety measures. Those regulations include the washing or sanitization of hands, the use of face masks and the requisite six feet distance. In enforcing those measures, the Belize Police Department is authorized to conduct spot checks at various locations. This afternoon at the Icons Building on Newtown Barracks, a team of officers stopped by Ready Call to ensure that employees, as well as their bosses, were adhering to those regulations. A handful of employees were observed standing outside of the building as the random inspection was being carried out. To the best of our knowledge, the spot check did not result in any arrests.
