Barbados Donates 1000 Doses of COVID-19 Vaccines to Belize
And this just in…there is good news coming from out of the Ministry of Health and Wellness, which is reporting that Belize will be receiving its first shipment of the COVID-19 vaccine from the Government of Barbados. The donation of one thousand single doses of the Astra Zeneca vaccine will arrive at the P.G.I.A. by cargo flight on Wednesday and will be received by representatives from the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Belize continues in bilateral negotiations with other countries to source and buy additional COVID-19 vaccines for the country. The ministry anticipates the arrival of the COVAX vaccines at the end of March or the beginning of April.
