Belize Jaguars Ready for Turks & Caicos Game!
Also joining the discussion were Belize Jaguars players Woodrow West and Deon McCaulay. The two players told reporters what they hope to do differently for the next match which is their home game in Dominican Republic against Turks and Caicos.
Woodrow West, Goalkeeper, Belize Jaguars
“During the workout session we will have for the next game, I think we just need more communication with my defence line especially with the set players because the team really did a good job defensively as a unit but dead ball is one of our weaknesses and I guess if we get that fixed together then we could have a better match on Tuesday. So, I think it is the coach’s job to do and we just have to stick to our part and know that for this game we have to win three points possible.”
Deon McCaulay, Captain, Belize Jaguars
“Our role is to keep the team level headed all times, whatever situation. Our goal is to keep the team focused on the goal ahead and to give the best advice to the younger players because we have a lot of young players on this team and so just show them you know what it is to play at the highest level.”
