B.N.T.U. President Says Vaccination is a Personal Choice

Elena Smith

We also found out that President Smith has not yet taken the Covid-19 vaccine. She spoke to News Five about her reasons, and asserted that everyone has their own choice to make.

Paul Lopez

“On a personal level, have you gotten the vaccination as yet?”

Senator Elena Smith, National President, B.N.T.U.

“Not as yet.”

Paul Lopez

“Are you planning to?”

Senator Elena Smith

I have not thought about it yet. I know that some people are using it as, well the president haven’t gotten her vaccination, so how can the teachers get. But we have seen that we have sixty to eighty percent of our teachers who have been vaccinated. And, as I said earlier, it is a personal choice. And, all of us have a reason, whether it is gear or health matters why we haven’t done so as yet. And, we have that choice to make. So, I do not see, I do not think that anybody can fault anybody who hasn’t done it as yet. It is just their choice.”
