COVID-19 Protocol/Curfew Remains Unchanged
With the increasing number COVID-19 cases, Minister Chebat was also asked if there will be any amendments to the quarantine regulations as set out in statutory instrument number seventy-four of 2021. There will be no changes in the curfew which is currently from nine p.m. to four a.m. daily, but other groups have been identified as frontline workers.
Michel Chebat, Minister of Health & Wellness
“Our curfew remains the same. We are going to be adding to the frontline workers who must be vaccinated, we are going to be adding persons who work at our post office as they are interacting with the public on a daily basis. As well as we are going to be including our people who work at the port because they too are at a high risk for themselves and for the community they serve. So we are going to be making that change.”
