Hospital COVID Cases “Cleared”

In an update to our story on the San Ignacio Hospital COVID cases among the staff a few days ago, the Ministry of Health and Wellness announced today that all those diagnosed with COVID-19 during the third week of August have now been medically cleared.  The ministry says their surveillance and administrative teams continue to enhance all public health measures to ensure that the workplace is safe and also that the community feels safe when accessing services at that hospital.  Services will continue to be modified but remain open to the public according to the existing surge plan for COVID-19 in response to community transmission.
