US Labels Belize Level 4 Travel Warning

Belize is among ten countries that received the highest travel warning, a Level Four, from the U.S. Government.  The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of States are telling American travelers to think twice before travelling to Belize due to “very high levels of COVID-19.” The CDC says to “make sure you are fully vaccinated before travelling” to Belize. The number of active cases in Belize currently stands at one thousand four hundred and seventy-four active cases, as newly confirmed daily cases have remained in the triple digits for the last two weeks.  The Belize Tourism Board tells News Five they are not prepared to comment at this time.
