Miss Earth Featured in Harper’s Bazar Magazine; Asked to Judge Pageant in Vietnam

Miss Earth 2021, Belize’s Destiny Wagner, seems destined for bigger things. This month she is featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazard Vietnam edition and has been asked to be a judge in the upcoming Miss Vietnam Ethnicity 2022. The winner will go on to represent this Southeast Asian country at the Miss Earth pageant 2022 later this year. In the Harper’s Bazar interview, Wagner is described as “a queen with natural hair”. She told the magazine she is happy to represent Belize and women around the world who have experienced any form of discrimination due to their economic status, skin tone, and hair. She told Harper’s she got a lot of negative messages but those do not outweigh the positive ones, and she is blessed to be a representative for the earth and advocate for  unity and love. And, Destiny says as the world enters the final stages of the pandemic she is “ready to promote eco-tourism and be on the forefront of marine conservation.”
