Dr. Cuellar to Event Planner: “Go Ahead and Plan”

Dr. Cuellar also chimed in on the matter of public events. He, too, is not against these events being hosted. Dr. Cuellar is of the view that the economy must continue to re-open as has been occurring over the past few months.

“My thoughts and recommendations is more centered on the responsibility of the individual now, ok. You need to make sure that if you go to agriculture fair you use your mask. If you go to Lobster Fest you use your masks. Even for carnival, I am sure you could be creative to have some pretty masks being worn along with costumes and partying on the street for long. I find and I am thinking that masks are very important tool to minimize or lessening the spread. So yes, we need to continue with what we have started, which is as they say open up back fully again.”

“No, I think they can go ahead and plan, but they should also put in their procedures and plans that they are going to do to use face masks. Encourage the people for their point of view.”
