“Being a part of this pro team will be an asset for both him and the team. The Miami Blazers is a diverse mixture of cyclists from different parts of the world such as the U.S.A., Venezuela, Anguilla, Barbados and now our very own Belize. The Miami Blazers has been racing the professional scene for over a year now and has already become a team to be reckoned with. They have obtained several wins, including the Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic 2022 through the Anguillan cyclist, Mister Hasani Hennis. Oscar has now joined the ranks of Bryton Codd and Kaya Cattouse, just to name a few in becoming the first male Belizean local cyclist to obtain a professional contract. This would not have been possible without the support of two-time cross country champion Justin Williams and his family as well as Mister Glen Flowers. This initiative is surely just the start of already growing movement of showcasing local Belizeans’ talent on the global scale.”
