La Reina De La Costa Maya 2011 was selected on Friday night in La Isla Bonita. Eight contestants from Central America and Mexico vied for the crown and strutted their stuff in traditional costumes, swimsuits and evening gowns. But it took more than physical beauty to make it through the question and answer section. The final question was for the judges to answer: who takes home the crown? It was a tough decision and the new Reina De La Costa Maya is, Miss México, Valentina Cervera Ávila.
