Kim Barrow receives medical treatment

Prime Minister Dean Barrow returned to the country on Sunday. The PM was in Miami where his wife, Kim Simplis Barrow is receiving treatment for breast cancer. Simplis Barrow was diagnosed with stage three cancer two weeks ago. She has been hospitalized at the Baptist Hospital where she has received a first round of chemotherapy and is to undergo a mastectomy. Two tumors have been detected in her left breast; the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and then to the sternum also on her left side. The thirty-nine year old wife of the PM has been a strong voice for cancer awareness for many years.
We need, you need to show a better pictrue of her. LET’s ALL PRAY FOR KIM.

Kim, hang in there. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer eight years ago and went through my treatment. Today I am stronger than I was then, because I know if cancer cannot hurt me, nothing will. Think positive, don’t worry about the little stuff, and look to jah for guidance. Strength is only found in a time of weakness. Light can only be found in the presence of darkness.
Though we have never met, I feel like we are “sisters” in that I am a survivor of breast cancer. My cancer also got into my lymph system. Know that this is totally cureable and beatable! Know that your strength and belief in God will carry you and your family through amazing things. Know that although you have just started down a new road in your journey of life, it IS a road that is worth anything that you may go through. Know that my heart and my prayers are with you Miss Kim and that from one survivor to another, you can and will be victorious. Never doubt for one second that you will be anything other than successful in overcoming this disease. Everything begins in the mind, so claim your victory now! Blessings to you and to your family.
