Did John McAfee get a heart attack in Guatemala?
McAfee’s lawyers are fighting his deportation. Prior to his arrest, however McAfee also spoke to Thomson Reuters and ABC News.

“Mexico is extremely friendly to Belize for obvious political and financial reasons. Ninety percent of the over-land drugs that go from Colombia to America goes straight through Belize over the mainland highway. There are connections circling around that the higher-ups in Belizean government, in one way or the other, benefits from the drug trafficking. Everyone knows that except the Americans and the Europeans. The American DEA certainly knows that. So I would not be safe in Mexico. Any other country would be very difficult for me to get to. So it was Guatemala all along. So now, I’m going public with this. And so I went to the world press and now I am a danger to the government. At that point I become someone that they want to either remove or put in prison where I cannot speak for the rest of my life.”

“If only one-tenth of what I am saying is true, then I’m going to go in with a lawyer, things gonna be very polite and their gonna saw, “Ah because you said this, we think maybe you might have done that so we’re going to have to detain you. Do you think that the system of justice works in Belize like it does in America? It does not.”
Police Press Officer Raphael Martinez said that when returned to Belize, McAfee could be held up to forty-eight hours, unless charges are brought against him.
I hope 48 hours detention is enough for his tongue to be loosened by the process of drug withdrawal, assuming the stories of his drug habits are true. A police friend of mine in another country told me that in jail, addicts will confess anything if they believe it will speed their ability to obtain some drugs. Apparently withdrawal is an overwhelming physical and mental process.

Conclusion: he could not go to the US. And that Guatemala has a better system of justice than Belize and US.

I am a belizean and I love my Belize but, yes Belize is very corrupt, if you want this man to stay alive don’t send him back. The police will kill him for sure an get away with it. And all you other belizean knows this. So say what you like about this. I know this from first hand experience.

And some people wonder why Belize is rapidly falling. These comments reflect how coldblooded many of them are. Just as coldblooded as the hard core criminals and murderers. All they keep talking about is to KILL, HANG,…Wow!!! And the mayhem, murders and corruption increases daily in Belize!!!!! SMH. It has become the latest soap opera no doubt, the ratings must be in the millions luring us all back every day to see the next part in the story, all so unreal. Its like why people watch those stupid reality shows, everything on them is sick and demented but our sinful nature still lures us to watch like we are waiting for them to change, when they never do and we are being led along by the twisted minds of chaos.
