Coye: U.H.S/K.H.M.H merger is takeover not bailout
Following an announcement by the Cabinet earlier this week that the Government would assume two thirds of Universal Health Services and merge it with the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, this afternoon, Minister of Health Jose Coye defended Belmopan’s decision. According to Coye, the deal is not a bailout, but rather a takeover in order to make the best out of bad situation.
