San Ignacio cop wanted for assaulting his wife

Reymundo Reyes

San Ignacio Police are also investigating one of its own in connection with reports of a domestic assault in that western town. Police Constable Fermin Choco is wanted by police after his common-law-wife reported that she was physically assaulted by him on Tuesday night. According to Inspector Reymundo Reyes, there have been previous incidents of a similar nature with the couple and that the matter is being taken seriously.

“Last night, sometime after ten, a female, the common-law wife of PC Fermin Choco, visit the station and filed a report against him. She reported that while at their residence, the officer allegedly arrived home under the influence of alcohol where an argument ensued between both of them in which he ended up slapping her in her face. As a result, she made a report. At this moment, we are trying to get in contact with the officer since he is on vacation leave and then we will be proceeding as per normal of informing him of the report made against him and charging him criminally for the crime of common assault.”

“This man is wanted right now by police?”

“At this point, we can say that he is a wanted person for the San Ignacio Police Formation.”

“We know that just two weeks aback, four officers were charged for a criminal act and now again another officer of your formation there are charges pending. What’s happening in your formation?”

Via Phone: Insp. Reymundo Reyes

“It might be seen on the negative side that maybe police officers are being charged, but on the other end, it is something that can be seen as positive that if a complaint is against any of the officers and our investigation reveals that what is being alleged is true and we have sufficient evidence to arrest and charge a person; that once we get the consent of the Commissioner of Police, we will proceed there and arrest and charge this person.”

what the FFFFF…. so because the police officer (and a police officer is not above any ordinary citizen) so because he is on vacation leave you cannot find him. Come on inspector…give us a better excuse…do not insult our intelligence. And then The Police Department wonders why the public does not trust them. Simple because cops protect each other. To the Lady assaulted…now things will get worse…you watch it….cause this Fermin drunkard knows he can get away with anything…cause he is a cop…cause he is above the law… cause the law does not apply to him… all of the above covers the mentality of most officers in this country…sad…

I applaud the Officer –In-Charge of the San Ignacio Formation for his new structure of dealing with the Police Officers in San Ignacio. Charging the four and now acting on this assault complaint is quite impressive. Our San Ignacio have been harassed and abused by these Officers who believes that they are above the law, they go about harassing the citizens for no reason at all. I will not say all the San Ignacio Officers are abusive; however, there is a set (Kan, Ku, Williams) of them and this said Choco is in that count. Our citizens are treated like they are murders when they visit the Station. They get screamed at, cursed out and you know your rights your either thrown out the station or put in a cell as well. Keep doing the R I G H T thing Mr. Inspector in charge.
