Bondsman Adil Abdullah charged for the rape of 19 year woman
For days police have been investigating an allegation of rape made by a nineteen year old woman against a well-known bail bondsman. Well tonight, sixty-five year old Adil Abdullah, who is also known as Errol Bishop, has been charged with a single count of rape. Abdullah was arrested on Wednesday and arraigned this morning before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer in the presence of his attorney, Ellis Arnold. But after spending Wednesday night in detention, he is out tonight on bail of seven thousand dollars. The alleged incident happened in the area of Western Pines on the George Price Highway on June thirteenth. His accuser has provided detailed information on how the sexual abuse purportedly occurred. She claims that instead of taking her to view an apartment, Abdullah took her to an area near the Homeland Memorial and raped her. She also claims that after forcing her, he cleaned up and burnt the toilet paper he had used. The nineteen year old woman also alleges that Abdullah used his gun to frighten her and he told her that he would provide her with a pill so she won’t get pregnant. While returning to the City, she said, she jumped out his vehicle and she would later report the incident to her aunt and then to the police. But there is another version to the story which Abdullah gave to News Five today at his home and in the company of his wife and family. There he showed a text purportedly from the young lady which read, “Give me four hundred dollars; we could definitely work something out.” The text was dated June eleventh, 2014, two days prior to the alleged rape incident. Abdullah also showed another text dated June thirteenth, the day the rape purportedly took place. It read, “Hi, I am out of credit ‘’ and please give me a call at ….” Abdullah also claims that the young woman used her aunt’s phone to text him and call him, but we couldn’t confirm whether indeed those texts came from the alleged victim. He spoke to News Five in length off camera claiming he was involved with alleged victim six months prior to the incident. On camera, however, he was brief.

“Threaten me and she text me and she call me and she told me that if I don’t give her four hundred dollars that she will get me into problems with the police. And as you could she on my phone the text that you see that I show you that she was in contact with me by the Digicell to tell me to call her which I never call her there. She called me and she talk back to me and ask me where could she come and meet me and I did not answer her that day. The conversation was about four hundred dollars she wanted me to give her to get an apartment to move out of her man house because she say her man treat her very bad and that she is not living with her man. That is what she said.”

“How does this make you feel to know that the police say that they will investigate and even though you have witnesses or alibis you are still charged with a sexual offence like this?”

Abdullah told us also about the embarrassing visit his wife got from the police at their home. They were looking for a khaki pants and a white shirt, but found no such items and instead, took three pieces of his underwear and impounded his vehicle. He also denied that that he owns an apartment in the area where the victim claims she was raped. Despite providing two alibi witnesses who have given statements to police that he was in Ladyville at the time of the incident, he was arrested and charged. Abdullah next court date is set for August fifth.

You remember a few years ago you visited a wise woman who you respect very much and she gave you advice and told you that she hoped that you and your brothers were behaving yourself because you have good in you? You vouched that you were. We knew you still had your hustle going, which is in your nature; survival instincts. You all own Boots; can’t knock that because when you meet a jackass with a habit you deal with them and treat them as such. Now this shit surfaces on you. Sharon Frazier and some might not even know, you had this drama before several times in Belize, one of notoriety which tarnished the lives of some decent girls from decent families with a video which even Clinton Pulu Lightburn was a part of. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt because people have a tendency to declare on guilty in the “Court Of Public Opinion” when it comes to issues like this. You know that story about the text and calls may not hold up because the police has a special unit which is trained by the US and can tell the origination of those texts and calls. I’ve commented before in blogs in these forums that it is a sad state that we’re in all over the world, especially due to the economy. Our young men and women are so strapped financially that the men commit crimes and the women have their hands out. When I was growing up Mothers would monitor their daughters, ask them where they were going and with whom; question young men. If you were five years older than her child, you were five years too old. Now, I go to Belize, and if I didn’t have respect for myself, I’ be a “Man Hoe.” These young girls walk out of their houses at all hours of the night without any regard nor questions being asked. All they’re interested in is what you can bring for them from the US in clothes, shoes and cell phones. Most mothers don’t even ask questions because instead of taking care of their children, they view them as a burden and as long as she, the mother, doesn’t have to provide all the necessities for her female child, she doesn’t care where her child gets it from. If you just wanted to get your “Rocks” off , there are a lot of women in their late 30’s and 40’s in Belize looking for the same because they don’t want no steady man. Believe me, I run into a lot of them. Of course, you’re going to have to “pay to play”. That’s the signature of a true player though.
I am 100% sure he is guilty. I always wondered if he was behind that spat of child killings back in the 90’s. This guy, in my mind, is an old crook, drug dealer and child predator from way back. I was hoping that the younger generation of killers would have killed him off by now.
