Late evening shooting at Fabers Road – police aim at burglars

There was a shooting a few minutes ago on Fabers Road and Whistling Duck Street. According to an unconfirmed report, police were in hot pursuit of two burglars who had broken into a home in the vicinity. From a witness account, the officers detained one of the burglars and were in search of another when the detainee jumped from the police mobile. The officers set chase after the person on Madam Liz Avenue and were able to apprehend him. A search was done in the area and moments later, several gunshots were fired by the officers in the direction of the burglar. The identity of the burglar is yet to be confirmed. The search continues for the other.

    When will these Police boys learn? Is it a lack of training, or is it a lack of good ole common sense, or both? You detain a criminal but fail to use hand cuffs. What do you think is going to happen?
    Now the idiots are firing shots in an effort to rearrest the suspects thus endangering innocent civilians in the process. Oh boy…..
