Darell Carter in court for failure to make Social Security contributions
Businessman Darrell Carter was back in court today. This time he was there to answer to a single charge of failure to make Social Security contributions payments in respect of persons employed by him. Allegations are that he has not paid contributions for a four month period, from the months of February to May 2014. Carter, who was unrepresented, appeared before the Chief Magistrate, Anne Marie Smith and pleaded not guilty. His next court date is set for August twelfth. In court today, Carter was provided with disclosure against him by the Prosecutor from the Social Security. After being told he was free to go without bail being an issue, Carter left the court room in good spirits.
