Transgender woman, Vanessa Champagne, bailed
After two nights in lock down at the Belize Central Prison, transgender woman, Vanessa Champagne Paris is finally out on bail. Today, Vanessa, who’s birth name is Perfilio Rodriquez, was out after her father met the seven hundred and fifty dollar bail granted by Magistrate Herbert Panton. While she appeared as a female on Tuesday before Magistrate Panton, Rodriguez was treated as a man when he was arraigned for one count of aggravated assault with a knife upon Golda Orosco, the sister of UNIBAM Director, Caleb Orozco. When the transgender woman exited the prison bus this morning, he was dressed like a male; without the wig and female attire. Rodriguez, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, is due back in court on August twenty-ninth, 2014.
stop referring to this person as she. Mr. Jones at Kolbe informed on the Media that Perfilio was checked and he has all the sexual organs of a MALE. It doesn’t matter if he calls himself Vanessa. HE IS A MALE. Medias should start objective reporting and get rid of sensationalizing!
just one question…..male body parts, but consider herself a female. So where exactly in the prison was she/he held? Wonder if it’s the make section, guess not otherwise she would have either been dead or something else. Is this why she/he was release so early from prison? LOL
I wonder if orozco have issues with vanessa just cause she prettier than him or maybe he is discriminating against transgender people?
