Blackout in Belmopan
Belmopan fell into darkness and a number of government offices as well as companies had to curtail business because of a blackout that continued throughout the day. The government owned B.E.L. says the blackout started at seven this morning; there was no electricity and no internet so employees were unable to function. At homes, Belmopan residents made do their best to deal with the inconveniences. B.E.L. said the outage is the result of a failed power transformer at the substation serving the area. Power is not expected to be restored before midnight tonight.
No surprise here with this useless incompetent gov. Kick them out kick them out of office they are useless.
