9 Firearms Removed from City Streets…
The Belize City Police Department, under its new head of command, Assistant Commissioner of Police Dezerie Phillips, at its press conference today spoke of the success of several ongoing initiatives by the department. The police top brass says that aside from the Israeli Galile automatic rifle that was discovered in an abandoned lot off Fabers Road two weeks ago, it has removed several other weapons from the city streets resulting from intelligence led operations over the past few weeks.

“We wanted to highlight the seizure of nine firearms off the street over the past few days. And I need to emphasize that this is as a result of intelligence led operations as a consequence of improved citizens’ cooperation and support. Included in the nine firearms that we held off the streets is three-nine mm pistols, one point three-five-seven magnum; one-point three-eighty handgun, one-point thirty-two pistol one point-thirty-eight revolver; one galile automatic rifle and a point twenty-two bolt action shotgun. These of course, we would have loved to have them here for you to see them, however, because of different investigations we are carrying out, most of them were rapidly sent off to our forensic lab.”
Wow these look like brand new guns I wonder if the United States is still running that fast and furious agenda?
Good work
