Ladyville Woman Charged in Carnal Knowledge Case…

An unemployed domestic of the Ladyville area, who in September 2013 was charged jointly with her boyfriend for allegedly luring a fourteen year-old minor into their car, was back in court today. Both Stacey Leslie and John Williams, allegedly sexually assaulted the minor. He was charged for carnal knowledge and Leslie for Committing an Indecent Assault upon the Minor.  Leslie was granted bail, but today she was escorted in cuffs from the police station to the court to be read the additional charge of Abetment to Commit the crime of Carnal Knowledge upon the Minor.  Since Leslie was already out on bail granted by the Belize City Magistrate’s court back in late 2013, she was allowed to go home on that same bail. Allegations made by the minor were that Leslie and Williams took turns in sexually abusing her after she was invited into Williams’ car and taken to Cayo. But it was on their return that Williams drove to his home in the Ladyville area where she told police that she was given marijuana to smoke and then abused by the couple. A doctor, who examined the minor, certified that she was carnally known and classified her injuries as grievous harm.
