Arthur Saldivar Alleges Political Connection…
According to the tracking feature, the Ipad was taken to this home in Orange Walk. We didn’t know it at the time of the interview this morning, but we’ve learned that the house belongs to German Vega, who is the brother of the Deputy Prime Minister. Saldivar isn’t taking the matter lightly, even before he learned the identity of the homeowner. He told News Five that especially in today’s violent climate, he expects, and is prepared for the worst.

“Certainly I would want to know who owns that house for various reasons. Why would my Ipad be of interest to them? Why would I be of interest to them and certainly I need to know whether or not it is someone that I need to worry about. A lot of things have been happening in Belize recently that give us all pause. The situation of Mr. Cervantes comes to mind readily. And all these crimes of violence that have been taking place that didn’t usually take place in Belize…it’s taken a different turn and a different twist so for those in the public who like myself have concern and those who would like to see Belize return to normal…I would just like to say this. I am not a drinker, so you won’t find me drunk anywhere. I am not a habitual smoker, so you will not find me dying of asphyxiation in terms of cigarette smoke or something of the sort. So if any accident should befall me…if any freak issues should affect me…don’t go looking anywhere that you need not look. The house where my Ipad was since Sunday should be of particular concern. Start there…nowhere else.”
News Five attempted to speak to the proprietors of E and A Bakery in Ladyville, but they were being questioned by Police at the time.

What a stupid report!!!!!Who wants to know if he lost his I pad, there are more valuable items that are robbed and not lost every day. If he lost it that is his problem he was not assaulted. I am not a UDP but German Vega have enough money to buy 10000 of I pads.

These comments reveal people who are limited, bad mind, or jealous. Rather than paying attention it goes over your head and the victim is attacked. So sad to read and learn despicable some in Belize have become. It is not right for any person to be a victim of crime and the fact that the attorney was does not make it alright.
Oh please @2cents. If you would have read the messages being portrayed you would have understood that we are simply upset that this matter made news it has nothing to do with Saldivar’s cry for attention. As stated by others both German Vega and the Bakery Owners have plenty of money to be stealing an iPad. This is the first time however that I have EVER read that a lawyer is a victim considering how many murderers or guilty people Saldivar has probably defended in court. Also, if this is your moment of realising “how despicable” some people are in Belize then you must not be from around here. To conclude, might I add that iPads are fairly inexpensive and an iPad owner (who knows how to use that device) can also wipe the memory clear remotely so had he been so worried about his data he could have done so.
