Fonseca Says an Intensive Investigation Underway

In the allegation of the nine hundred and four thousand dollars, the matter is being litigated and a claim has been filed against him by the Coye family. But while that near million dollar straw broke the camel’s back, there are also other complaints against Saldivar which have been taken before the General Legal Council. P.U.P. Leader Francis Fonseca says those complaints will also be taken into consideration while deciding Saldivar’s fate in the Party.

“We are concerned and the Committee will be looking at some of those. We understand that some complaints have actually been filed while some have been made in the public and have not actually been filed, so yes, we are concerned about that and that is forming a part of the ongoing investigation into this matter.”

“You know that is not a determination that we are yet prepared to make. We are going to as I said to await the outcome of the investigation and the entire national Executive of the Party will make a determination on this matter and will make a final decision. Mr. Saldivar was present at the National Executive meeting. We allowed him an opportunity to make representation to the National Executive, and in this ongoing investigation he is being interviewed as a part of the investigation, as well as other witnesses on his behalf are being interviewed so there is due process, but we understand and appreciate that the Belizean people expect that we act deliberately and decisively when matters like this come up.”
We are told that in his own defence before the National Executive, Saldivar maintained that he was owed one point six million dollars by Melonie Coye for his role in the money laundering case against the Coye family.
How can the P.U.P. hierarchy be conducting an “intensive investigation” on a matter that is before the courts. Have they ever heard of “prejudicing a case” ?
Is Arthur to be be judged by a P.U.P. executive on which Eamon Courtney has undue influence, before the case comes to trial?
No matter which way the cat jumps, the P.U.P. will lose Belize Rural North – that is the bottom line. But….
If Arthur is expelled or further hampered, he may well work to assure Belize Rural North, AND Dolores does not win in the upcoming General Elections, Eamon for sure has not contemplated this scenario. He is very smart but can never run for political office and this clouds his judgement I think.
I have received emails from PUP cohorts asking me to lay off Francis Fonseca, but Gawd, this leader is right up there with Saldivar (not too bright.)
Francis, how could you chastise one of your own? You react to what people say. Why? Look at Barrow. He is surrounded by a bunch of thieves and scumbags. Yet he defends them. That is what leaders do.

Look is taking Francis Fonseca, the biggest crook of them all. From being part of a big drug family, walking around as if he is already a PM and prejudice against blacks. I always thought PUP was a racist party so it comes as no surprise to have a big black hater as Francis as the party leader. He is a weak person, a follower and guided by others who run the party behind the scenes. If you are a black person in that party it is best to stay under the radar or have money. Arthur does not stay under the radar and they don’t want him to have any money. Too bad, the guy is a good attorney! This is both funny and sad to watch! Arthur is making traction, won a landmark case and now the client don’t want to pay. So here comes Francis with his royal creoles, Eamon and Godfrey to the recuse in an attempt to shaft the man. Everyone is not foolish we can see the play. Remember that Mark Espat fiasco, no he is a true dunce. But the party loved him because of his skin color. All this is sweat feva!
