Another Allegation of GSU Brutality on Jane Usher Boulevard
In this newscast, we have carried untold numbers of allegations of brutality at the hands of the police. Tonight, residents of the Jane Usher Boulevard are alleging that they were beaten up for no reason by the Gang Suppression Unit. The group of four including two minors and students of Gwen Lizarraga High School, an employee of Caye Caulker Water Taxi and another resident were accosted by the officers led by Commander of the GSU, Mark Flowers. The men were so badly beaten that they had to be taken to the K.H.M.H. for medical treatment. One of the victims who suffered from asthma told News Five about the ordeal.

“Coming from my female house. Just get picked up by GSU, stone me ina wah pan and drive back a Jane Usher and they ker me dah back ah Jane Usher where some of my brother’s friends were. No questions asked, they drag me in by my knee and they just start beat everybody up. Constantly kick me on my side. I end up the get short of breath and I try explain to them that I di ketch asthma, but the more I talk it was like the more kick I get.”

We tell the man we work and thing and the young bwai di look fi ketch fits and thing and dehn ker ahn dah hospital and when we look, dehn come back and then dehn start to apologize to we and start to say sorry and this that.”
That aside, the men are currently seeking legal advice.
