Are Conorquie’s Killers Indeed Guatemalans?
The fact is that unless one of the murderers dropped a notarized confession complete with finger-print, blood-sample, picture and proof of Guatemalan birth…it is unlikely that there will be any legal proof that Danny Conorquie’s killers were Guatemalan. Minister of Foreign Affairs Wilfred Elrington certainly won’t move until he has that confession statement in hand. But Elrington has likely not been in the jungles near the border, and his battleground is within the sanctified halls of the O.A.S. and the U.N. Those on the ground, like Rafael Manzanero, have no doubt that the killers are Guatemalan. The Executive Director for Friends for Conservation and Development, which manages and monitors the Chiquibul, knows the area and knows the people. He told News Five that the killers are Guatemalan, and perhaps the Foreign Minister just doesn’t have the correct information.
Rafael Manzanero, Executive Director, FCD
“I would say more than one hundred percent these ones are Guatemalans. There is no doubt about it. We have followed basically all the reports, we have been able really to look at descriptions, we have looked at the territory where it occurred and so every indication is that these are the Guatemalans that have been operating there even for years. I think we have been reporting this for quite some time. We do know the frequency…we do know the area has been utilized over and over so there is no doubt in our minds that these are Guatemalans.”

“So with that said can I ask you your response to the comments of the Foreign Minister?”
Rafael Manzanero
“I can only note that perhaps he had not been fed with all the information. Perhaps he’s still not really so clear to understand all the descriptions coming about. But from all we can ascertain once again this was done by Guatemalans. So that his words…that is what he felt at the time. I don’t know if he has had any new information but from all of our account there is no doubt that his words are not practically standing at this particular moment.”
I agree 100% with mr. Manzanero.
I think we all know who is it. OAS will not say who is it, since they defend the interest of Guatemalans. Can someone please describe to the minister how a Guatemalan look?
What if the person had an enemies, found out where he was working, studied his shifts and then sacked him when he wanted because there was no possible way police or people could have traced it back to him, knowing that the Guatemalans were gonna take the blame. Come on people think.
