And this news well known businessman Karl H. Menzies whose reputable business on Barrack Road carries his name passed away on Saturday October eleventh. A mass in celebration of his life will be held on Thursday at Saint Joseph Church. Menzies story is an inspirational one, from humble upbringings he became a hugely successful businessmen. He started working at an early age and later established his own company. He is one among eighteen children who grew up in the Mesopotamia division.  Karlie as he is known served on numerous boards including the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and B.E.L. He was also a president of the Holy Redeemer Credit Union and for National Four H Foundation. Karl Menzies, dead at eighty-six years of age.
