Suspended Body Builder to Compete in World Beauty Fitness Federation

That suspension has prevented Castillo from competing in the 2014 Body Building and Fitness Championship earlier this month. But like the saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens. On November fifteenth, Castillo will be competing as an independent body athlete in the 2014 World’s Beauty Fitness Federation. According to Castillo, this year has been one of the hardest for her, but she refuses to give up.

“After the suspension, it took me a while. I had to find another coach and what did you know, I found a WBBF Pro to coach me. She coaches me online so I am not self-coached, but I am however self-trained. There is a difference. So she tells me what to do, she monitors everything…literally every single thing I put in my mouth, every workout; she monitors me and I get it done. Our plan was basically to compete next year. Now it is for the WBFF which is the World Beauty Fitness Federation which is another association which you basically go through them, you register and they accept you. That’s it…no associations here in Belize to tell you what you need and no kinda drama.  At that point we said we were going to compete 2015, well the founders of the WBBF reached out to my coach and told her that I am ready now. They want me on that stage before the end of 2014. So that’s when we picked the premiere. It is the WBFF debut in Miami; it is the first time they are going to Miami to host a show. So it is going to be huge and they invited me to this prestigious event.  I know that I am training harder because when I train, I refuse to think that anybody in this world is training harder than I am because I will put in those hours and I will put in that hard work and no one is going to train harder than I will. So I get into that mentality and I get in there and I do what I need to do. This is the best body that I will bring to stage to date. Just so the viewers would know, I was competing figure; that’s when I was with the IFBB and you know, but I am suspended so basically I cannot compete under IFBB. So switching under WBFF, their figure girls are a lot bigger and I knew I wasn’t ready for that, so I actually made the decision to drop down to a category technically speaking called Fitness Diva. It seems so much more interesting because I get to wear a costume and I get to wear a bedazzled bikini….and who doesn’t want to wear a bedazzled bikini.”

Castillo has several fundraising activities that will be done over the next few weeks in an effort to raise money for her to represent Belize in the World Beauty Fitness Competition.
