Motorist Perishes in Road Traffic Accident in Orange Walk District

There were two traffic accidents over the weekend, both of them in the Orange Walk district, and both of them resulting in fatalities. The first occurred on Friday at around ten p.m. on the Trinidad – August Pine Ridge. One man, twenty-four year Alonzo Vasquez, lost control of his vehicle while driving home to Trinidad. Police believe that he suffered a blowout which caused the vehicle to flip several times.

12:30 am? High speeds? Booze? Hopefully one of these days we’ll reach where blood alcohol tests have to be standard procedure, and the public disclosure in the news of those findings on EACH case! then the word can be getting out regularly and send the message to public to start to bring change in these areas.
