Gapi Vega’s Political Career Unfazed by Defamatory Statements

Cervantes will not apologize nor back down, and neither will Deputy Prime Minister Gaspar Vega. He told the media today that the matter is in the hands of his attorney and that is where it’ll stay. And apart from that, Vega says the situation hasn’t affected his political career in the slightest.

“Rodwell Williams already sent the letter so there is very little that I can say. It is in his hands and I have said what I have to say and we will just leave it there.”

“Do you think it was irresponsible for Mr. Cervantes to do this along with the Media houses that broadcasted the event?”

Gaspar Vega

“Like I said I have said what I have to say, the rest the attorney will take care og

it.”

“Do you think this have affected you politically?”

Gaspar Vega

“No I don’t think so.”

“Sir are you concerned about your own personal security. You mentioned that something like this can create crazy thoughts in people’s head. Is it something that you are concerned for yourself and your family?”

“I said it in that the statement that I made and I meant everything I said on that statement.”

“From a political level, are you threatened by Ramon “Monchie” Cervantes?”

Gaspar Vega

“No it has not changed.”

As we told you, Vega has sent letters through his attorneys to Ramon Cervantes Jr., CTV-3 in Orange Walk and Love FM. They have until Monday to issue a retraction, an apology and a proposal for compensation for hurting Vega’s feelings.
