Andrew Tate and Carl Lino Remain Hospitalized, Charges Pending
Twenty-eight-year-old Andrew Tate remains hospitalized at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after being shot in the back of the head while riding a bicycle on North Front Street on Wednesday afternoon. Tate was accosted by a lone gunman who has since been identified as twenty-two-year-old Carl Lino, who fired three shots in his direction. Lino reportedly attempted to flee the scene of the shooting by running into Pinks Alley but was pursued by an officer on foot patrol. The chase resulted in Lino being shot once to the left upper leg. While the weapon, a chrome, point thirty-eight revolver has been recovered, both men remain admitted to ward at the KHMH. Lino, however, remains under police guard since it is expected that he will be charged for the attempted murder of Andrew Tate. While an investigation is ongoing a motive for the near-fatal shooting has not been divulged by police. Tate is listed in a stable condition at the KHMH.
