Clive Myers Resigns from the B.T.B.

Clive Myers was appointed Acting Director of Marketing at the Belize Tourism Board as recent as Monday. But his appointment has been short-lived because this afternoon, Myers resigned with immediate effect.  The circumstances surrounding his abrupt departure, however, are rather curious since a package was delivered to all media houses this morning, just prior to the announcement of his resignation.  Contained therein are a number of documents, including email correspondences with several online institutions which Myers claimed to have attended.  Those emails purport to dispel recent publications of his extensive academic history which the B.T.B.’s Director, Karen Bevans had lauded on Monday when he moved up as Acting Marketing Director.  News Five has made several attempts to contact Myers for comment but we have so far come up empty.
