Universal celebrates 3 years of health services

They’ve only been open three years, but it seems like Universal Health Services has been providing health care to Belizeans for much longer. Today Jacqueline Woods paid the facility a visit to find out what special offers are being made to patients during their anniversary celebrations.

If you happened to be in the vicinity of Universal Health Services, not only were you treated to free medical test, but there were some good bargain prices on a number of hygienic products and medicines. The Health Expo was held to celebrate the third anniversary of the medical institution.

“We are offering health education for the adolescents, the Path Lab is offering cancer screening education and they are also doing blood grouping, the nurses are doing blood pressure and blood sugar checks.”

U.H.S. also introduced a health package that they say is not only affordable, but will allow more people to access the facility. Jacqueline Woods for News Five.
